Adam Wainwright is a working-man's pitcher.
He's thrown 140.2 innings already this season, in 19 starts. If Wainwright pitches at least seven innings Sunday night at Wrigley Field, he'd rank 19th in franchise history for the most IP by a Cardinal before the All-Star break.
