Adam Wainwright, who is not eligible to pitch in Tuesday’s All-Star Game at Citi Field, said that he will stay off the mound for the entirety of the four-day All-Star break. Having already logged a National League-high 146 2/3 innings this season, Wainwright said he is valuing the downtime “very highly.”
