Rockland OF Chris Edmonson leads the Can-Am League in RBI (35) and is tied for the lead in home runs (8). He has already garnered a Pointstreak Hitter of the Week award. But, earlier today, Edmondson earned another honor. The Atlanta Braves purchased Edmondson’s contract from the Boulders, making him the first Rockland player in the team’s three-year history to have his contract bought by a major league organization.
