John Gast Wins In Debut
Add John Gast to the list as the latest of the St. Louis Cardinals pitchers to be promoted from the minors and make an immediate contribution to the team, as the left-hander worked a very efficient six innings in his major-league debut to earn the “W” against the Mets 10-4 on Tuesday.
