The 15yr old Mallen is from San Cristobal DR and works out with notable trainer Basilio Vizcaino. He has a lot of projection at 6’1″ 175lb with athleticism and solid range at the short stop position. His arm action isn’t free and easy but his arm strength will play average. He shows raw power and ability to manage a heavy FB. He’s a gap to gap hitter that projects future true power due to bat speed and size.
