Derek Lilliquist Not Worried About Shelby Miller's High Pitch Count; Mike Matheny Sees The Seals
After he all but forced manager Mike Matheny to remove him after throwing 107 pitches through 52/3 innings on Monday, Cardinals rookie Shelby Miller, one of the National League’s top pitchers through the first month and a half of the season, lamented his inability to avoid “20-pitch innings.”
