Offense Missing Again As Cardinals Go Down
A half hour after Monday’s 2-1 loss to the Cincinnati Reds ended, Cardinals third baseman David Freese emerged from the indoor batting cage, drenched in sweat and carrying a Rafael Furcal-model bat he had just used to beat back a slump before it swallows him whole.
