Mike Matheny Cautious With David Freese; Adam Wainwright Bruised; Extra Bases
Cardinals manager Mike Matheny struck a new note of caution with third baseman David Freese, acknowledging Tuesday that the schedule of games in Jupiter, Fla., may not allow Freese enough time to be ready for the home opener Monday at Busch Stadium.
