Cardinals Starters Fired Up

Here’s one thing I really like about the Cardinals’ five-man rotation: each pitcher has something to prove. They’re fired up. I’m not suggesting that Adam Wainwright, Jaime Garcia, Lance Lynn, JakeWestbrook and Shelby Miller needed motivation. But it certainly can be helpful to have just a little extra going for you. Through 13 games the starters are a combined 8-2 with a 2.13 ERA, and that’s a reflection of their talent and their mindset.
