Cardinals-Diamondbacks Series Preview
The Diamondbacks suffered attrition this spring, just as did the Cardinals. The foremost loss was exciting outfielder Adam Eaton, their 5-foot-8, rookie leadoff man who hit .390 this spring but suffered a left elbow sprain that will keep him out six to eight weeks. Also out are right fielder Cody Ross, who has a left calf strain, and valuable infielder Willie Bloomquist, a Team USA member who suffered a right oblique strain.
