Rafael Furcal Out Indefinitely, Seeks Treatment Options
Shortstop Rafael Furcal’s uneven and uncertain recovery from an elbow injury took a turn “in a bad direction” this weekend, according to the Cardinals, and increases the potential the club will need more than backups as insurance at Furcal’s position. It could need a replacement.
