The Fullerton Flyers have named Evert A. Renteria as the Manager: In 1995 Evert was signed as a free agent by the Atlanta Braves. After his time in the Braves organization, he played five seasons in the Colombian Winter League. He was named MVP of the Colombian Winter League playoffs in 1999. Evert was a Scout with Cincinnati Reds from 1997 until 2000 when he began coaching in the DSL for the same organization. Evert brings fourteen seasons as a Coach in the Colombian Winter League and two as Bench coach. Evert and his two brothers, Edinson and Edgar Renteria are part of the Renteria Family Foundation to create and develop youth programs.
