Mark DeRosa May Not Bring Something To The Field, But To The Clubhouse
If Wins Above Replacement is your thing, Blanco was at minus-0.2 last season with the Arizona Diamondbacks, while DeRosa offered the Washington Nationals minus-0.8. Using a more traditional measure, each batted .188 over a cumulative 149 at-bats, so objectively, they were beyond expendable.
