Adam Wainwright: Contract Talks 'On Hold, Not Over'

Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright's representative and the Cardinals held discussions on a long-term contract within the past week but as a result of the exchange decided to put those talks on hold, the pitcher said this afternoon.
