It was a hot and muggy day at Hammons Field as the Cardinals looked to even the series against the RockHounds in game two of the three game series.
Ryan Jackson delivered a game-winning single off Jon Meloan with two outs in the ninth, lifting the Springfield Cardinals to a 4-3 win against the Midland RockHounds on Monday night at Hammons Field.
