Quad Cities Drops Fourth Straight

River Bandits starter Seth Blair went 5.2 innings allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out two. Blair left in the sixth inning trailing 3-1. Blair avoided the loss when the Bandits tied the game in the eighth at three. Blair has not taken a loss since April 29.
After finishing 22 games below .500 during the first half, the Clinton Lumber-
Kings have taken a new approach to the second half of the Midwest League season. Manager Eddie Menchaca has his team keeping it simple.
