Matt Holliday In Lineup As DH After Illness; Trever Miller Has Fond Memories Of Time At Trop; David Freese's Time Off Healed Hand & Ankles; Etc...
Matt Holliday got a sort of half-day off on Friday, the result of an illness that struck him on Thursday night. Holliday served as the Cardinals' designated hitter in their series opener against Tampa Bay rather than playing in left field.
