South Bend Shuts Out Quad Cities On Two Hits
David Holmberg (5-3) effectively shut the door on the River Bandits Friday night at Coveleski Field in South Bend, Ind. Holmberg allowed only two hits in his complete game shutout of the Bandits. Greg Garcia (1-for-4) and Starlin Rodriguez (1-for-4) were the only two in Quad Cities lineup to get a hit against the lefty Homberg.
