Quad Cities Break Tie In Ninth
The River Bandits put up three runs in the first inning only to allow two runs in the bottom of the inning to put the game within one. The River Bandits went on to score two more before allowing Clinton to tie the game in the fourth. Both teams were held scoreless until the ninth when Michael Swinson (1-for-2, 2 R) scored on a wild pitch to make it 6-5. Following that play, Cody Stanley (1-for-5, 4 RBI) hit a three-RBI double and the Bandits went on to win 9-5.
