Placido Polanco's Move In Lineup Pays Off With Slam

Phillies manager Charlie Manuel shook up his lineup and provided a booster shot to the club's offense.

Third baseman Placido Polanco batted fifth for the first time since May 13, 2005, which was during his first tour with the Phillies. He started a game hitting fifth just 10 times in his career before Manuel hit him fifth Friday against the Chicago Cubs at Citizens Bank Park. It paid off in spades.
