Carlos Martinez Promoted To Palm Beach
Carlos Martinez is moving on to the next challenge.
After striking out 50 batters over 38.2 innings in eight starts for Quad-Cities, the hard-throwing 19-year-old pitcher was promoted Monday by St. Louis to high-A Palm Beach.
