Cardinals Promote Raul Valdes To Bullpen; The Future Is Now; Tony LaRussa's Friends; Medical Ward...

The Cardinals took a first step toward returning order to their bullpen Thursday by purchasing the contract of lefthanded reliever Raul Valdes and optioning Maikel Cleto to Class AAA Memphis.
