The term "June swoon" most often has been applied in these parts by Cardinals fans to chide Chicago Cubs supporters for the 100 or so Junes their long-suffering worthies have endured after starting their seasons with a rush. But on a much reduced scale, the Cardinals have had their own dips in this month.
