Bandits starter Boone Whiting (1-1) had perhaps his best start of the season Tuesday night as he struck out a season-high 11 batters in front of a season-high 6,819 fans. Whiting also went a season-high eight innings allowing three runs on three hits while walking one to go along with his strikeout total. However, the Bandits couldn't find enough offense to support the start and lost 3-1.
