After putting up a season high 12 runs in the series opener against the Arkansas Travelers last night, the Springfield Cardinals were poised to make it back-to-back wins with Scott Schneider on the mound Tuesday night.
Left-hander Nick Greenwood atoned for a pair of back-to-back forgettable relief appearances by working a two-inning save, protecting the Springfield Cardinals’ 9-7 victory against the Arkansas Travelers on Tuesday night in North Little Rock, Ark.
