The River Bandits were down 1-0, when they tied the game in the sixth on a Cody Stanley RBI single. The Bandits went on to score another run in the seventh on a Nick Longmire RBI double, to take a 2-1, before scoring three more in the eighth to take a 5-1 lead against Kane County. The Bandits held on for its fourth win in its last five games.
Quad-Cities came from behind to win for the 10th time this season Tuesday, scoring single runs in the sixth and seventh innings to take the opening game of a three-game set with Kane County.
