Kane County Outlasts Quad Cities In 14 Innings
The Kane County Cougars knocked off the Quad Cities River Bandits, 4-3, on Thursday night at Elfstrom Stadium in a 14-inning marathon that lasted 5 hours, 2 minutes and included a rain delay of 1 hour, 11 minutes. Geulin Beltre singled home Brian Fletcher in the bottom of the 14th inning to end it, as the Cougars snapped a four-game losing streak and evened the three-game series.
