Indians Sign Dominican Right-Handed Pitcher Luis Daniel Marte
The Tribe sign RHP Luis Daniel Marte of the Dominican Prospect League. Marte is 6'3 180lb with a wiry body, his FB velocity 88-92 (93) and shows flashes of 2 quality breaking pitches. Marte pitched in the All-Star game last January and recently agreed to a $200,000.00 contract with the Indians. Congrats to all.
