David Carpenter Earns Third Save In Triple-A
The RedHawks avoided a four-game sweep Monday by beating Nashville at Greer Stadium. The Hawks led 3-0 after two innings but barely held on in the bottom of the ninth as the Sounds rallied for both of their runs. Nashville (21-29) had the tying run on first base when Oklahoma City reliever David Carpenter retired the final two batters for his third save.
