Carlos Martinez, to whom the Cardinals gave a $1.5 million bonus last year, made his St. Louis debut Thursday night at Busch Stadium, pitching for the Cardinals' Quad Cities Class A farm club. It remains to be seen how long it might take before Martinez, who is 19 years old, pitches here again. But he left his card.
