Amid Rumors, Jose Reyes Remains Focused On Field

If Reyes is to be traded, however, it may take some time. Other potential suitors for the shortstop include the Brewers, Reds, Cardinals and Angels, and it is unlikely the Mets will look to deal Reyes to any of them until much closer to the July 31 non-waiver Trade Deadline. In the interim, Reyes remains focused on continuing to play out what has been -- so far, at least -- a superlative season.
