Tony LaRussa's Gamble Pays Off; Skip Schumaker Back On Field; Brian Tallet Throws In Bullpen; Bryan Augenstein Not Ready To Begin Throwing
With a radar full of green, yellow and even purple spots barreling right down on the city of St. Louis, the Cardinals decided to start reliever Miguel Batista instead of Kyle McClellan. Two minutes and six pitches later, the move turned out to be the perfect one.
