It was a great start to the week as the Cardinals hit the field looking to take game two of the three game series against the RockHounds. For the second consecutive night, two righties took to the mound, Midland's Justin Murray, facing the Cardinals, Scott Schneider.
Ryan Jackson continued his hitting binge with a single and two doubles, including a tiebreaking double in the fourth, and Scott Schneider worked yet another solid six innings as the Springfield Cardinals beat the Midland RockHounds 5-3 on Monday night at Hammons Field.
