The River Bandits opened the scoring in the first with an RBI single by Packy Elkins (3-for-3, 2 RBI, 2 BB), but surrendered three runs in the top of the second and couldn't rally back from the early deficit.
A smart start by Seth Blair was followed by a sloppy finish by his Quad-Cities teammates Friday.
