River Bandits pitching struck out 18 batters leading its team to a 7-4 Opening Day win.
After a throwing error that allowed Beloit to strike for a run in the top of the first, the Bandits came back in the bottom of the first inning to plate three runs in support of starter Trevor Rosenthal.
Trevor Rosenthal wasn't kidding.
The Quad-Cities right-hander, who relished an opening-night start for the River Bandits, backed up his words with actions Friday.
