Pitching Trio Makes History For Mexico

Mexico notched up an impressive first in Major League Baseball when three homegrown pitchers simultaneously started games on Tuesday night.
Mexican pitcher Marco Estrada only came into the Brewers’ rotation through an injury to Zack Greinke but has been the team’s best starter, says his manager.

Jorge de la Rosa (3-0) opened for the Colorado Rockies against the Cubs at Wrigley Field, while Jaime Garcia (3-0) took to the mound for the St. Louis Cardinals against the Astros at Minute Maid Park and Marco Estrada (1-0) for the Milwaukee Brewers against the Reds at Miller Park.
