Lou Montanez had four hits, including three doubles and a home run, to lead the Iowa Cubs (10-8) to a 12-8 win over the Memphis Redbirds (6-12) at Auto Zone Park tonight. The Cubs had lost the first two games of this series, but now seek a split with a win in the finale tomorrow morning.
Lou Montanez led the I-Cubs attack going 4-for-5 with three doubles, a two-run home run, scoring three times while driving in four as the Redbirds failed to hold on to an early 4-0 lead as Iowa won game three of the series 12-8 Monday night at AutoZone Park.
