Lance Berkman will be limited to designated-hitter duty for the next few days as he recuperates from left elbow soreness.
In a move that undoubtedly makes him the favorite to become the fifth starter in the Cardinals rotation this year, Kyle McClellan has been moved from his previously scheduled start on Thursday and will now start Saturday at Roger Dean Stadium against the Astros.
