The Cardinals' roster came into much clearer focus on Monday. Though the final 25-man group is not completely set, it's much more evident than it was a day ago.
The St. Louis Cardinals made a significant stride toward their 25-man roster by cutting 10 players on Monday, including spring bloomer third baseman Matt Carpenter, who was re-assigned to minor league camp after today's 7-2 loss to Washington.
