Adam Wainwright was back at the Cardinals' camp in Jupiter, Fla., on Wednesday, ready to begin elbow rehab less than three weeks after undergoing season-ending Tommy John surgery, according to The Associated Press.
Standing in almost the same spot where three years earlier he fielded questions about the injury clause in his new contract, Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright, his arm in an articulated brace, conceded the hypothetical has become reality.
Adam Wainwright hadn't even been back an hour when pitcher Kyle Lohse asked the question.
