Tony La Russa barely could contain himself this morning as he met with the media before the Cardinals' workout.
"I've got a really good announcement to make," said the Cardinals' manager. "I had dinner with Albert last night and he guaranteed me he wanted to end his career with the Cardinals. Guaranteed it."
