Prince Fielder Could Be On Cardinals Radar This Coming Offseason
Fielder, who had no substantial contract talks with the Brewers during the winter, is scheduled to join Albert Pujols of the St. Cardinals as the two top sluggers on the free-agent market. It could turn out to be a game of musical first-base chairs. If Pujols departs St. Louis, Fielder could be on the Cardinals' radar. If the Cubs don't bring back Carlos Pena,who is signed to a one-year deal, they'll have an opening. The Rangers, Angels and Mariners could also figure heavily in the first-base market
