George Brett On The Fast Lane 2-14-11

Former Kansas City Royal George Brett joins The Fast Lane. Brett played his entire career with the Royals organization. For Brett, it was all about playing in October and the Royals were making the playoffs on a consistent basis. He did not have a playoff appearance during his last seven years, but, looking back, he would not do anything different. Brett says that a home town discount is not unfair because the organization they are playing for gave them a chance. He applauds Pujols not wanting to talk about the contract during spring training or the season because it can take a toll on the team and a player. Click below to hear the interview.
