David Eckstein, Nationals Haven't Talked Lately
Infielder David Eckstein is another player that would be a good fit for the Nationals. The club expressed interest in Eckstein early in the offseason, but the two parties haven't talked in weeks. Eckstein, the younger brother of Nationals hitting coach Rick Eckstein, also played with the Padres, hitting .267 with a home run and 26 RBIs.
