A trio of young talented prospects will make the trek to the Quad Cities on the St. Louis Cardinals Caravan stop at Modern Woodmen Park. The Cardinals have announced that the active players coming to the Quad Cities are starting third baseman David Freese, outfielder Jon Jay and infielder Pete Kozma. They will join John Mabry (94-98, 04-05), Cal Eldred (03-05) and Alan Benes (95-01) as the members of the Cardinals alumni who will be on hand. Cardinals television analyst Rick Horton will emcee the event.
Starting major-league third baseman David Freese will join outfielder Jon Jay and infielder Pete Kozma when the Cardinals Caravan makes a stop in the Quad-Cities on Jan. 17.
