Albert Pujols Sets Spring Training Contract Deadline

Albert Pujols has no interest in continuing contract negotiations once Spring Training starts, general manager John Mozeliak told reporters on Saturday.
General manager John Mozeliak said the Cardinals have been informed by Albert Pujols' agent that the start of spring training is the deadline to have a new deal in place.
The agent for Albert Pujols has informed the Cardinals that his client will not negotiate a contract extension once spring training begins next month.
