The Sox currently don't have a match with the Cardinals, who are looking for middle-infield help while possessing 24-year-old left-handed hitting center fielder Colby Rasmus, who won't be eligible for arbitration until after 2011. But a trade seems the best bet to address a left-handed hitter and a catcher if Pierzynski isn't re-signed.
