Wayne Granger Inducted Into Cape Cod League Hall Of Fame
Wayne Granger's 1962 performance with the Sagamore Clouters finished among league leaders with a .329 average, 25 RBIs in 76 at-bats and six home runs. In 1968, he entered the Majors with the St. Louis Cardinals. His nine years in the Majors spanned appearances with the Cardinals, Reds, Twins, White Sox, Yankees, Astros and Expos. Granger was unable to attend, and his plaque was accepted by Sagamore teammate Jim Winders.
