Tigers, Jhonny Peralta Reach Agreement On New Deal
The Tigers have agreed to terms with shortstop Jhonny Peralta on a two-year contract, according to a source with knowledge of the agreement. The deal is expected to be announced in the next couple of days, and sews up Detroit's shortstop opening for the foreseeable future. The club has not confirmed the deal.
