Ted Simmons Feels Accepted As St. Louis Legend
It’s been a big week for Ted “Simba” Simmons.
The former Cardinals catcher was inducted into the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame on Nov. 16. Before a crowd of 1,500 at a downtown St. Louis hotel, Simmons was part of the hall’s second induction class, joining former Cardinals pitcher Dizzy Dean and former Browns first baseman George Sisler.
